Ahead of their Sweely show at Centre Point tonight, The Dublin promoters give us a flavour of their party sound.
We started Omni back in 2019 with a vision and determination to be Dublin’s one stop shop for all things house and minimal. Since we have started we have had hit some huge milestones with from our club shows, curating festival stages and this summer hosting our first Ibiza show at Eden Ibiza.
Within these 10 tracks we have chosen for you are artists that have played with us at Omni and no doubt some familiar sounds for our regulars.
Omni host Sweely tonight with support from Luke and Jake Fitz.
1.
Sweely
Dancing Pockets
This is a track from one of our most anticipated shows of the year tonight – infectious keys and textbook Sweely baseline really. This really encapsulates the buzz we like at our parties.
2.
Lola Palmer
Imagine That
known for her releases on Berg Audio, is a producer we truly admire. We’re big fans of her productions, which are clean, stripped back, and always carry a lovely groove. Keep an ear out for Lola Palmer’s tracks at our parties – they never disappoint.
3.
Lauren Lo Sung
Purpose (Gaskin remix)
We’re big fans of Gaskin here at Omni. His tracks are always high energy and bouncy, fitting perfectly with the vibe we love to create. Recently signed to Archie Hamilton’s label ‘Microhertz’ and the PIV, Gaskin’s versatility shines through in his productions.
4.
Rossi
Feel it
This one from Rossi who we’ve had play with us multiple times at Omni from club shows to festival appearances with us always works. If you have been at one of our parties within the last 6 months there is a big chance you would have heard this one.
5.
Lukey
Low Down Little Creeper
Dublins very best Lukey, is not only a good friend of ours but also one of our favourites. With each production he releases, he never fails to impress us, and it seems like he’s getting better by the minute. What sets Lukey apart is his ability to find his own sound, something many new producers struggle with. That unique touch is one of the main reasons why we love his tracks. Keep an eye out for Lukey at a lot of our upcoming shows.
6.
Chris Stussy
Forever Moving
Stussy is one of the most in demand names in the game at the moment. We had Chris Stussy back in Dublin for his Dublin debut in 2021 and has since returned multiple times across our club shows and stage at Otherside.
Every track from Stussy has an infectious groove and tons of swing, this one is no different.
7.
Traumer
Hoodlum
Traumer is a maestro both in the studio and in the booth. This track is one of his earlier releases and always does damage.
8.
Guy Contact
Euphoria Simulator
We hosted Guy Contact in September last year at Badbob’s Rooftop for a 3 hour set and he did not disappoint. He came armed with a bag of spacey, progressive house and this is a track that is no different.
This is the kind of groove you can expect late into an Omni showcase.
9.
Julian Anthony
Open Minded
Julian is one of our favourites. The Dutch native always delivers with crisp productions and perfect track selection in the booth. His latest release on x-kalay is spaced out, fast and dubby. It was hard to pick just one track off this EP to describe Omni.
10.
Kolter
Originate
Kolter is both an Omni and a fan favourite, he can make a range of tracks from house edits to minimal. We had Kolter over in 2022 for his Index debut which was one of our favourite shows to date. We can’t wait to welcome him back to Dublin.
