Other Voices share a second video shot in Dingle this time around with Morgana.
After last week’s lovely vignette chat between Belfast rapper Leo Miyagee and Dingle Peninsula-based historian and folklorist Billy Mag Fhloinn, Morgana steps onto the Dingle town streets and outside the busy chipper to discuss making music as a solo artist away from Saint Sister.
The video was shot by Tiny Ark in December, as Morgana embarked on the first shows of her solo career, which has seen her support CMAT on a US tour and is currently on tour in Ireland this week, including a sold out Whelan’s show tonight, before shows in Galway, Cork, West Cork and Limerick.
Morgana also performed at Other Voices: Home at the Guinness Storehouse solo in November 2023.
Watch the 3-minute video where Morgan explains herself.
Other Voices next thing is Anam – Songs for Hearts & Minds which will feature performances from Adrianne Lenker, Martin Hayes, Sarah Crean, Lemoncello, TraviS & Elzzz, Oisín Leech, Uly, EFÉ, Mohammad Syfkhan, Moncrieff and more performing in prestigious heritage sites across Ireland.
