Listen to this Run The Jewels / Rage Against The Machine mashup mix

You’re probably hammering RTJ4 like us at the moment, seeing as it’s a suitable soundtrack to the dystopian hellscape that is 2020. (Our podcast review is here)

In many ways, Rage Against The Machine are the ’90s forebearers of that world-is-burning punk energy and with Zack De La Rocha doing his best work in recent memory with Run The Jewels.

So, DJ Skarface, who is responsible for the RTJ / DJ Shadow mashup mix a few years back, has done the next logical thing and paired the music of Run The Jewels with the vocals of De La Rocha on Rage Against The Machine ( the two acts were due to tour this summer but Rona put paid to that idea of course).

So what follows is 14 minutes of their music in mashup form, available on Bandcamp as a free download. It’s fun, even El-P agrees.
