PX Music are a Limerick collective and hip-hop label who are the forefront of the city’s music scene. For the last year, it seems like all of the artists associated with PX, from Hazey Haze to Aswell to Strange Boy to AKIA to Citrus Fresh to Krome to MurLi to Clerk 5 have been releasing music like there’s no tomorrow, because maybe it feels like there might be no tomorrow?
Like with God Knows’ ‘Who’s Asking’ Remix from earlier this year featuring many of these South West all-stairs, this Now Thats What I Call PX Music mixtape is a fine 50+minute collection of the music of those PX associated artists and shows why Limerick is ahead of everywhere else in Ireland on the rap front right now.
Tracklist is in the Youtube description.
Speaking of Limerick, a cohort of artists related to the city including our own Kelly Doherty and Mike McGrath Bryan have contributed to Quaranzine, with all proceeds going to MASI – Movement of Asylum Seekers Ireland.
