Jerry Fish has a Kickstarter to finish his Daniel Johnston album

Avatar

Irish artist Jerry Fish has a Kickstarter campaign to enable the completion of his album in tribute to Texas songwriter Daniel Johnston.

Dreaming Of Daniel features 13 songs by the late, great Daniel Johnston, and features the vocals of MayKay from Fight Like Apes.

The recording of the album is done – but Jerry Fish is seeking support through Kickstarter to cover the costs of mixing, mastering, and manufacturing the album.

The Kickstarter campaign launched on June 19th and will run for 45 days, and backers get a vinyl version of the album, a digital download and bonus. Other rewards include a VIP secret gig and more.

The album came about since Jerry Fish and MayKay started putting on gigs to mark Hi, How Are You Day in 2020 to mark the songwriter’s birthday, with the support of Daniel’s Hi, How Are You Project based in Austin, Texas, encouraging new conversations around positive mental health and well-being.
