All you need to know about the Fairview Park Dublin concerts this June

Around 64,000 people are heading to gigs in a big tent in Fairview Park in the coming weeks including for acts like CMAT, Loyle Carner, Fatboy Slim and Zara Larsson.

Here’s all the info from the organisers MCD …

Wednesday June 19th – Sum 41, The Scratch
Friday June 21st – Zara Larsson, Chasing Abbey
Saturday June 22nd – Two Door Cinema Club, Modernlove., Disgusting Sisters
Saturday June 29th – The Saw Doctors, Carsie Blanton
Sunday June 30th – Loyle Carner, Kojaque

What time does the site open?

Gates Open: 7pm

SHOW STARTS: 7:30pm
*Fatboy Slim support: 19:15hrs **Two Door Cinema Club support: 19:15hrs

Due to increased traffic and ongoing roadworks patrons are advised to be at the venue in sufficient time to allow for security checks. No queuing allowed prior to gates opening.

If patrons do turn up early they will be turned away at restricted area points around the event site. Queuing in streets around the park will cause disruption to residents of the area and we appeal to patrons to heed this advice and respect the local community.

There will be one entry route at the Annesley Bridge end of Fairview Park
Show your ticket at the ticket barrier outside the venue for inspection.


What can I bring in with me?

  • Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs/ stools permitted on site. Please do not bring these items as security will have to refuse you entry with them.
  • Fairview Park is a standing only venue. All gigs will take place on grass under canvas and will take place rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoat/ponchos and suncream but remember no umbrellas.
  • There will be one entry route at the Annesley Bridge end of Fairview Park. • Show your ticket at the ticket barrier outside the venue for inspection.
  • Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition of entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue. • Patrons are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on site. Any items left at entrances/ in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
    ⚫ Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrella, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted.

  • Obey the stewards and Gardaiì and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.
  • There are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.
  • Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply with these T&Cs, as agreed by customer and per Ticketmaster Purchase Policy.
  • Don’t rush to exit after the concerts.

TransportHow to get there?

Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance allowing sufficient travel time to and from the venue. As traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport and private coach services. Promoters do not operate transport to/from venue this is matter for customers to arrange in advance. There will be no parking facilities provided at the concert site.

Where is the box office for tickets / guestlist?

There will be one box office/ticket collection point located at the concert
entrance. Please download your tickets to your phone ahead of the event – don’t wait until the day. Screenshots will not be valid as barcodes are live and updating regularly.


What’s the age policy?

Under 16’s MUST be accompanied at all times by a Parent/Guardian over 25, who takes responsibility and remains with them throughout the event. Strict age monitoring will be in place. Unaccompanied under 16’s will be refused entry without refund. Recommended no under 5s. All attendees must have a ticket.
The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply. See event site map here.

We cannot amend or move any ticket bookings, but if you are attending on general admission tickets and would benefit from an accessible accommodation, you can request this here:

www.mcd.ie/outdoor-accessibility-requests. Please note, all forms close 7 days out from event date. Accessible ticketholders do not need to contact us. They will be contacted directly regarding accessible parking/ drop-off options. All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.

Fairview Park is situated in a residential area, we would appeal to all concert goers to respect the local community by not littering, not engaging in anti-social behaviour and by not parking illegally. Please respect the neighbours.
